CHOCOLAT KOHLER | advertising
bookmarks | 19th century | die-cut paper 163 mm
The Swiss chocolat factory Kohler was founded by Charles-Amédée Kohler (1790-1874)
in Lausanne, who was a
merchant of ready-made chocolate before. Kohler invented the hazelnut chocolat in 1828. His company merged
later with the company of Daniel Peter to a larger enterprise. The
bookmarks show alpine flowers and were popular
collectible items at that time.
