Victorian
Advertising Bookmarks by Singer
On exhibition are four fascinating Victorian
advertising bookmarks from 1900 published
by the famous sewing machine producer
Singer. The bookmarks show excellently
lithographed portraits of famous comman-
ding officers of the British Empire along with
a short career history. This one on the left
is dedicated to Lord Kitchener of Khartoum.
